What you’ll do

Act as Responsible Pharmacist when required, ensuring GPhC and legal compliance.

Dispense NHS and private prescriptions accurately.

Carry out clinical and legal checks, resolving queries.

Provide patient advice and counselling, building long-term trust.

Lead and support the wider pharmacy team to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Deliver a range of NHS services, including DMS, NMS, Pharmacy First, and the Contraception Service.

Support private healthcare services, including access to newer treatments such as GLP-1s for weight management.

Collaborate with prescribers and healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.

Contribute to audits, reviews, and service development, identifying ways to expand both NHS and private services.

Take an active role in marketing, outreach, and staff development.
What you’ll need to have

GPhC registration with at least one year’s post-registration experience.

Strong clinical judgement and excellent attention to detail.

Great communication skills and a genuine commitment to patient care.

Confidence to supervise, mentor, and work independently.

Experience with EPS, PMR systems, and NHS digital tools.

A commitment to continuous professional development (CPD).

Safeguarding Level 2 and GDPR training (or willingness to complete).

A UK driving licence is preferred but not essential.

Ability to commute to the Nottingham site.
