    Pharmacist - Nottingham NG

    Pharmacist
    Nottingham
    Full and Part-Time Available

Looking for a pharmacist role that combines clinical variety with a supportive, independent environment? This Nottingham-based pharmacy offers the best of both worlds: the stability of a trusted community business and the innovation of a modern online service. You’ll work with a friendly team who put patient care first, while enjoying the opportunity to shape services and develop your own professional skills.

With free on-site parking, flexible hours, generous holiday allowance, and access to CPD opportunities, this role gives you the chance to focus on quality care without the pressures of a large corporate chain.

    What you’ll do

    • Act as Responsible Pharmacist when required, ensuring GPhC and legal compliance.

    • Dispense NHS and private prescriptions accurately.

    • Carry out clinical and legal checks, resolving queries.

    • Provide patient advice and counselling, building long-term trust.

    • Lead and support the wider pharmacy team to keep daily operations running smoothly.

    • Deliver a range of NHS services, including DMS, NMS, Pharmacy First, and the Contraception Service.

    • Support private healthcare services, including access to newer treatments such as GLP-1s for weight management.

    • Collaborate with prescribers and healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.

    • Contribute to audits, reviews, and service development, identifying ways to expand both NHS and private services.

    • Take an active role in marketing, outreach, and staff development.

    What you’ll need to have

    • GPhC registration with at least one year’s post-registration experience.

    • Strong clinical judgement and excellent attention to detail.

    • Great communication skills and a genuine commitment to patient care.

    • Confidence to supervise, mentor, and work independently.

    • Experience with EPS, PMR systems, and NHS digital tools.

    • A commitment to continuous professional development (CPD).

    • Safeguarding Level 2 and GDPR training (or willingness to complete).

    • A UK driving licence is preferred but not essential.

    • Ability to commute to the Nottingham site.

    What you’ll get

    • 28 days’ holiday including bank holidays (pro rata for part-time).

    • Pension scheme.

    • Free on-site parking.

    • Staff discounts on products and services.

    • Access to the Blue Light Card.

    • Regular CPD opportunities to support your career
